Research Abstract
Digital Twins (DTs) are virtual and dynamic representations of physical systems, increasingly enhanced by Generative AI and autonomous agents, resulting in Agentic GenAI Digital Twins. These systems offer improved adaptability, modeling, and interaction capabilities but also introduce new security challenges, such as data integrity, agent manipulation (e.g., Agent Hijacking), and vulnerabilities in inter-agent communication. This project aims to: (1) Analyze the state-of-the-art in terms of threats and mitigations for Agentic GenAI DTs; (2) Design methods to make individual Agentic GenAI DTs trusted; and (3) Develop solutions to secure multi-agent networks, focusing on communication protocols.
