Research Abstract
The research activity focuses on learning from big data, with three objectives. Firstly, the design and development of methodologies to optimize the performance of big data applications in HPC environments. Secondly, the integration between cloud and edge computing to enable scalable and low-latency learning at the edge of the network. Finally, the development of context-aware and real-time adaptative models that cope with changing environments, with a special focus on resource-constrained devices
