Exploring multi-layer sociality in opportunistic networks for message dissemination
Research Abstract
The research lines followed falls in the context of the transmission of information within the “ad hoc” network; in detail it was analyzed the applicability of a social network multi-layer model to a collection of datasets available in literature containing information on node mobility and information on the social ties extracted from a social network of reference (Facebook). This operation was carried out in order to analyze the generation of communities for the various network levels to propose metrics for the detection of social links between nodes in order to subsequently, on the basis of the results obtained, analyze and propose algorithms for the community detection and mechanisms aimed at disseminating routing information.
